Certified Fire Doors
& Passive Protection Solutions

Dorwerx is a leading manufacturer and supplier of certified fire doors and architectural door solutions in South Africa.

Dorwerx was founded by two brothers, James and Adam Rodger, in 2015. What began as a dedicated supply business has grown significantly over the years. Today, Dorwerx has evolved from simply supplying fire doors, timber doors, and ironmongery to proudly manufacturing our own high-quality, certified fire-rated doors tailored to meet the diverse needs of the construction industry—including residential houses, government buildings, hotels, and commercial projects.

As trusted fire door suppliers and emerging fire door manufacturers, we combine compliance, craftsmanship and performance to deliver doors that meet stringent safety standards without compromising on finish or design.

Passive fire stopping refers to the compartmentalisation and fire protection of a fire to enable tenants of a building to escape within a given time frame. Possibly the most important component to a passive fire stop solution is the doors that are designed to complement the system and contain a fire for a specified time rating. Dorwerx recognised a need within the industry for correctly specified, manufactured and installed doors and frames, to meet the specific requirements of each passive fire design. To this end Dorwerx will assist with specification and ensure fit for purpose products are installed or supplied to conform to these requirements.
